Source: BP Fabricating Another Gusher Solution
(FiniteTimes.com) – With top kill a dismal failure and cut & cap still an unknown in-progress, a source close to BP says that the company has decided upon yet another strategy to stop the flow of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, and is even now hurriedly building what the source is calling “a sure-fire solution”.
“When no other viable solutions are left, we’re stuck with the one thing that we should have tried at the beginning: an 8000-foot long dipstick,” the source tells The Finite Times. “Any jackass with a pickup can tell you that this is how you keep oil in check… why not scale it up a bit for the gulf well? An additional plus: you can remove it at any time and see how much oil is left in the Gulf floor. Pretty neat, huh?”
Dubbed Dipstick Hayward in honor of BP CEO Tony Hayward, the device is expected to be completed by sometime in early to mid November, with a screwing attempt planned for Thanksgiving Day that will be televised live during the Lions/Patriots halftime show.
