Senator-Elect Scott Brown Celebrates, Teabagger Style
(FiniteTimes.com) – The new Senator from Massachusetts celebrated his surprise win on Wednesday with a nod to both history and his teabagging base.
“We showed them what hard work and determination can do, and now we’re going to be fighting for three years to do exactly what the voters of Massachusetts want: nothing!” an excited Brown said as he opened up the bed of his signature pickup truck and began flinging teabags from it into the Boston Harbor.
“No taxation, no representation!” Brown declared as a large crowd of several dozen teabaggers waved crude handmade signs and chanted “41 beats 59! 41 beats 59!”
The rally lasted for about an hour, until police cited Senator-Elect Brown for littering and the crowd wandered off to find donuts and cocoa.
