NBC Late Night Solution Near?

(FiniteTimes.com) – As the NBC late night civil war continues to heat up, The Finite Times has learned that top NBC executives are toying with an idea to diffuse the situation by moving both Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon. Physically.

“The thinking is that they’ll keep their current time slots, but just move a time zone or two east. O’Brien would be broadcasting out of a small studio in St. Johns, Newfoundland, while Fallon would be based on a barge in the mid-Atlantic, just this side of the Azores,” a source close to the scheduling dust-up alleges.

“Nobody has really put a whole lot of thought into the math of the thing, but one positive of it is currently being whole-heartedly embraced: putting a sizable chunk of ocean between these three guys at this time equals good,” the source says.

The actual airing time of both The Late Show, Eh? with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon Late & Live From The Junk Barge Buttercup are one of the many problems still facing the plan, the source says.

Conan’s out, they say. I don’t watch any of them, but what a clusterf***. NBC has pissed me off for years (I think it started with their holier-than-thou ER promos), but geez, talk about failing on an epic level.
