Breakfast Cereal Endorses Obama
Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama may be facing a bit of an endorsement lift next week from an unlikely source: the Breakfast of Champions.
“In addition to winning our corporate headquarters state [Minnesota] by a two-to-one margin, Barack Obama has also shown himself to clearly be the more athletic and sportly of the remaining presidential candidates,” said General Mills spokesman Doug Sandabar. “His obvious love of basketball, swimming, and to a lesser extent bowling, make him a perfect Wheaties box candidate.”

Obama-Nation Goes Virtual
When Lestat Destiny teleported onto Hillary Island for her daily prayer vigil, she was surprised to see several dozen people milling about. The Second Life virtual headquarters (unofficial) of the Clinton campaign was usually unoccupied, quiet. Yet today it teemed with life.
“I had one of those brief Yay, we can win! moments, but then I saw they were all clutching Obama banners and flags, and my heart sank,” Lestat types, her waif-like avatar starring off into the tropical distance. “Holding an Obama demonstration on Hillary Island … have they no shame?”

Clinton Library on Auction Block
Rumors of financial difficulties within the Clinton presidential campaign gained credibility today when officials for the online auction site eBay confirmed that a listing placing the William J. Clinton Library up for sale was not a hoax.
“We’ve been in contact with the seller and can confirm that the auction is indeed legitimate and within our listing guidelines,” said an eBay spokeswoman. “eBay is proud to be the official lister for this historic sale.”
